Teeth Bleaching
Teeth can become discoloured for a number of reasons and despite the abundance of whitening toothpastes on the market, the only effective way to whiten teeth is by visiting the dentist. We offer a tooth whitening procedure that really works by removing staining with a safe chemical process.
During an initial consultation, we will assess your teeth and try to establish the cause and nature of your tooth discolouration, as well as providing you with more information on the whitening procedure, duration & frequency of treatment. Please note that whitening is not effective on dental restorations such as composite fillings or porcelain crowns.
What does treatment involve?
We will take impressions of your upper and lower arches and have custom made trays manufactured to fit your mouth perfectly. These trays, specially designed to hold the bleach on your teeth so it doesn’t leak on to your gums, are worn at home on a nightly basis until the desired shade is achieved. It takes an average of two weeks to whiten your teeth but the benefit of having a home kit is that you can control how white you go and you can also keep the trays for any top ups in the future.
